Blackout
A downloadable game for Windows
To know where you're heading to usually involves knowing where you are now. But... can you actually see where you are?
Some people might get lost sometimes and end up at completely unknown places. But, even the tiniest or the dimmest light can be more than enough to help you find the way. That's something you should remember when, for some uncommon reason, you find yourself in a place where you can't find the exit, and along with that you have to make sure you can at least see things at the tip of your nose.
There are some good news in this specific case, however: You'll actually be able to see every hallway, every corner and every dead end for some time. Plus, you're not completely alone. Someone has laid out some hints to help you through this journey. Just don't expect some kind of holding hands approach. So, pay attention to those hints, pay attention to your path, manage you resouces, try to keep at least a light on all the times and you may have a chance to succeed.
Blackout is a first-person single-player strategy game where you need to break free from your current captive structure. But there's more than just heading towards the exit, because when you're not expecting, when you're not predicting, when you're not waiting... Well.. Blackout! And suddenly the world is pitch-black. This is the moment to rely on the light you've gathered in you so far. And when you do manage to keep going, more lights may appear to light up the path ahead.
